Most inclusion work focuses on one issue at a time.
Real life does not.

The MosaiQs uses a structured framework, built around The MosaiQs™ Mindset, to explain how identity, systems and lived experience interact.

Seeing the full picture changes everything.

The MosaiQs

The MosaiQs is an independent organisation founded by Charlotte Marian Pearson, working across education, media, business, culture and policy.

Our work combines lived experience, cultural insight and strategic thinking to help people and systems understand complexity and design solutions that hold up in the real world.

Built around The MosaiQs™ Mindset and structured through The MosaiQs™ Framework, our work connects the pieces that shape outcomes across society.

For over 15 years we’ve worked across public, cultural and community-facing spaces helping people make better decisions where it matters most.

Because the barriers people face rarely sit in one place.
And they almost never exist in isolation.

Recognition

Charlotte Marian Pearson, founder of The MosaiQs, is a finalist in The Empowerment Awards, and The MosaiQs is proud to support the event as a Community Sponsor.

Charlotte’s work and insights have also been recognised across media, policy and cultural platforms including Cannes Lions, The Washington Post, and WeTransfer.

The Problem

Most inclusion strategies intervene at the surface.

New policies.
Training sessions.
Working groups.

Sometimes they help.
Often they don’t.

Because the real drivers usually sit deeper, in systems, experiences and social context.

That’s the gap The MosaiQs addresses.

Because life doesn’t happen in silos.

And neither should your strategy.

The MosaiQs Model

The MosaiQs™ Model is a visual tool that explains The MosaiQs Framework, showing how the different pieces of life connect and shape outcomes.

Not just identity.
Not just systems.
Not just experience.
Not just society.

All of it.

When you step back and look at how those pieces connect, patterns start to appear.

And once you can see the pattern, you can start changing the path.

How We See the System

The MosaiQs Model shows how the different pieces of life connect to shape patterns and influence the paths our lives can take.

You can’t change outcomes if you only look at outcomes.

When we step back and look at how the pieces of life connect, patterns begin to emerge.

Mosaicality

Mosaicality recognises that life is shaped by many interacting elements.

From the foundations we begin with,
to the larger systems that surround us,
to the everyday experiences that add detail to our lives.

When we step back and see how these elements interact, patterns emerge that influence the paths our lives can take.

Because the reality is this:

Life is the whole mosaic, not just one piece.

Context matters.
Nuance matters.
Life is rarely simple or one-dimensional.

Step back.
See the elements.
Recognise the patterns.
Understand the bigger picture.

What We Do

The MosaiQs engages with organisations, partners and communities who want to move beyond surface-level inclusion and understand what is actually shaping outcomes across systems and society.

That might look different depending on the challenge.

But the principle stays the same.

See the bigger picture.
Then do something useful with it.

Our work is grounded in real life, real systems, and practical insight.

  • Understanding Systems

Looking beyond what policies say is happening to understand what is actually shaping outcomes.

    Where the gaps are.
    Why they exist.
And where meaningful change is possible.

Through research, writing, resources and learning materials, The MosaiQs translate complex systems into knowledge people can actually use.

  • Collaborative Projects

Working alongside organisations, creatives and communities to build work that reflects real lives and real complexity.

    Co-created.
    Not imposed.

  • Speaking & Conversations

Public talks, panels and discussions that challenge assumptions, expand perspective, and help people think more critically about systems, inclusion and lived experience.

    Grounded. Honest. Practical.

  • The Bigger Picture

Most inclusion work focuses on one issue at a time.

    The MosaiQs connect the pieces.

So it becomes possible to see how identity, systems, culture and opportunity interact, and why outcomes take the paths they do.

This is the Work

Understanding how systems, culture and lived realities interact.

15+ years of cross-sector work and lived experience.

Built on cultural insight, practical knowledge, and the kind of understanding that rarely comes from a textbook.

From education and mental health to media, technology and representation.

The focus stays the same: understanding complexity and making it clearer.

Where the Work Applies

The MosaiQs connects lived experience, systems thinking and cultural insight to help people navigate complex realities.

The work often intersects with areas such as education, disability and neurodiversity, social policy, culture, media, and wider questions of access and representation.

Across different contexts, the focus stays the same: understanding how systems interact and why outcomes take the paths they do.

Organisations, Brands & Platforms

The ideas and work behind The MosaiQs have appeared across media, cultural institutions, public conversations and cross sector collaborations.

Parent Carer Voices

Much of this work has grown from community conversations and shared lived experience.
These reflections come from parents and carers who have engaged with the work over the years.

“After struggling for years trying to get my daughter diagnosed I heard about the parent carer support in a group I was attending arranged by CAHMS. All I can say is Charlotte was the best thing which came out of the whole process.

She allowed me into my safe haven.

Meeting other parents who were going through the same things as me. I didn't feel alone anymore.

After all these years I can say she's more of a sister and friend whom I can rely on and know can call at anytime for support. Thank you Charlotte for being who you are and what your support has done for us.

With love x”

Charlotte’s openness and honesty have enabled her to reach so many people.

There is no sugar coating. She speaks honestly about the positives and challenges of raising neurodivergent children and the importance of community and peer support.

Through the network she created I have seen how that honesty motivates others and helps parents grow in knowledge, confidence and resilience.”

She is incredibly knowledgeable and inspires others through the way she advocates for families. Charlotte has spent years supporting parents and continues to do so with generosity, creativity and determination.
