You’re trying to fix something.
But you’re only looking at one piece.

Most inclusion work tries to fix life one issue at a time.

The MosaiQs is a framework for seeing the whole picture.

We show you how systems, environment, and lived experience interact so you can stop guessing and start responding to the real patterns.

The MosaiQs

The MosaiQs is a framework ecosystem built to help you step back, recognise patterns, and understand how the different pieces of life interact.

It exists to make complexity easier to see, understand and work with.

The work brings together lived experience, cultural insight and structured thinking to show how systems, context and lived experience interact, and how those interactions shape patterns and outcomes.

Built on The MosaiQs Mindset, expressed through the Model, and applied through the Method, the work connects pieces most approaches treat separately.

Because the barriers people face rarely sit in one place.

And they almost never exist in isolation.

Recognition

The MosaiQs is a proud Community Sponsor of The Empowerment Awards.

The logic of our framework and its application across systems have been recognised across media, policy, and cultural platforms, including Cannes Lions, The Washington Post, and WeTransfer.

The Problem

Most inclusion strategies focus on what is visible.

New policies.

Training sessions.

Working groups.

Sometimes they help.

Often they just result in a 40-page PowerPoint deck full of stock images, followed by an afternoon of colour-coded post-it notes in a windowless meeting room.

It looks like progress.

It feels like action.

But once the deck is closed and the post-its are binned, nothing actually changes.

You cannot slide-deck your way out of a systemic issue.

The real drivers are found deeper.

They live in the interaction between structures, context, and lived experience.

If you ignore the friction between these elements, you aren't building a strategy.

You’re just performative.

Life doesn't happen in silos.

Your strategy shouldn't either.

The Interaction of the System

Outcomes are not accidents.

They are manufactured by how different elements of life interact: layers that most strategies never even acknowledge.

  • Foundations: The starting point. This includes genetics, ethnicity, and gender, alongside the socio-economic reality of your home life.

  • Systems: The structures you move through. Education, healthcare, and employment policies that were often built without your specific foundations in mind.

  • Context and Fragments: The invisible friction. This includes bias and cultural attitudes, but also fragments of experience like trauma, abuse, challenges, or unexpected opportunity.

The Picture in Practice: Imagine a person navigating a high-pressure workplace. Most people only see the "performance issue."

The MosaiQs looks at the full mosaic. We look at the foundations (genetics and ethnicity), the system (a rigid, one-size-fits-all appraisal process), and the context (unconscious bias and the weight of past challenges).

When these elements collide, the outcome is predictable.

If you only try to "fix" the person at the end of the chain, you have already lost.

The MosaiQs Model

The MosaiQs Model is a visual tool that shows how different parts of life connect to shape patterns and influence outcomes.

Not just identity.

Not just systems.

Not just experience.

All of it.

Step back, and patterns start to appear.
See the pattern, and you can shape the path.

How We See the System

The MosaiQs Model shows how different parts of life connect, how patterns form, and how those patterns influence the paths people take.

You can’t change outcomes if you only look at outcomes.

Patterns do not appear out of nowhere.

They are built.

You can’t change outcomes if you only look at outcomes.

Mosaicality

Mosaicality recognises that life is shaped by multiple interacting elements.

From the foundations we begin with,
to the systems around us,
to the everyday experiences that shape how life is actually lived.

When you step back and see how those elements interact, patterns start to make sense.

Because life is the whole mosaic, not just one piece.

Context matters.

Nuance matters.

And real life is rarely as tidy as people want it to be.

Step back.
See the elements.
Recognise the patterns.
Understand the bigger picture.

  • The Perspective Lens

Sometimes the issue is not the picture. It’s the view.

    What changes is:

    The distance.
    The angle.
    The focus.
    Who is looking.
    And who is missing.

Get the view wrong, and the picture gets distorted.
Get the view right, and the pattern becomes clearer.

The System in Practice

The MosaiQs provides the structural logic to move beyond surface-level explanations. We provide the architecture for clearer understanding. By mapping the interaction between foundations, systems, and wider context, we reveal the patterns that dictate outcomes.

It isn’t just about new words. It’s about a new way of seeing.

  • Systems Logic

We look beyond what policies say is happening to identify what is actually shaping outcomes.

We identify where the gaps sit, why they exist, and what actually shifts them.

Through structured resources and learning materials, we translate complex systems into practical logic that people can actually use to navigate real-world complexity.

  • Framework Integration

We work with organisations and communities to integrate this logic into their existing structures.

This is about more than a single project. It is a process of building work that reflects real lives, real systems, and the actual context people move through.

  • Speaking & Perspective

Public talks and panels that challenge narrow explanations and expand perspective.

We help audiences think critically about systems, inclusion, and lived experience by grounding every conversation in the logic of the Framework.

    Grounded. Honest. Direct.

  • The Bigger Picture

The MosaiQs connects the pieces most approaches treat separately.

When you see the full mosaic and understand how starting points, systems, and context interact, you stop guessing.

You start responding to what is actually there.

Recognise the pattern. Shape the path.

  • Resources and Tools

We translate complex systems into practical logic.

Through structured writing, digital resources, and learning materials, we provide the tools people actually need to navigate the world as it is.

  • Strategic Partnerships

We build alongside those who want to change how outcomes are shaped.

From media collaborations to policy insight, we provide the systemic perspective needed to see the whole mosaic.

This is the Work

Understanding how systems, culture and lived realities interact.
15+ years of cross-sector work and lived experience.
Built on practical knowledge, cultural insight and real-world understanding.

The focus stays the same:
Making complexity easier to see.

Where the Work Applies

This work applies anywhere systems, lived experience and context interact.

Across education, disability and neurodiversity, social policy, culture, media, and wider questions of access and representation.

Different setting.
Same pattern.

What People Are Saying About The Work

Clients & Partners

We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with organisations, institutions and leaders across different sectors. Their reflections highlight the impact of bringing lived experience, strategic thinking and honest conversation into spaces where change matters.

“Charlotte Pearson, a neurodiversity expert, brought a unique perspective to DS Live, sharing her vast expertise, knowledge, and invaluable insights on neurodiversity. Charlotte's engaging talk enlightened us on the pivotal role of assistive technology in school settings, demonstrating how it serves as an invaluable tool for every learner.

Her ability to connect with the audience and provide practical, actionable advice was remarkable.

Thanks to Charlotte, resellers now have a deeper understanding of how to support diverse learning needs, making her session a highlight of the event.”

Parent Carer Voices

Much of this work has grown from community conversations and shared lived experience.
These reflections come from parents and carers who have engaged with the work over the years.

“After struggling for years trying to get my daughter diagnosed I heard about the parent carer support in a group I was attending arranged by CAHMS. All I can say is Charlotte was the best thing which came out of the whole process.

She allowed me into my safe haven.

Meeting other parents who were going through the same things as me. I didn't feel alone anymore.

After all these years I can say she's more of a sister and friend whom I can rely on and know can call at anytime for support. Thank you Charlotte for being who you are and what your support has done for us.

With love x”
